CUAFA Joins the Federation of Asian Professor Associations

In a significant move to enhance collaboration and representation, the Columbia University Asian Faculty Association (CUAFA) has partnered with 17 other Asian professor associations to establish the Federation of Asian Professor Associations (FAPA). The bylaws for this new federation have been officially approved by the CUAFA executive committee and the Office of the General Counsel (OGC).

This coalition aims to foster a stronger network among Asian faculty across various institutions, promoting shared goals and initiatives. Professor Haifan Lin of Yale University has been elected as the inaugural president of FAPA, bringing extensive experience and leadership to the role.
