Call for Nominations: 2025 CUAFA Young Investigator Award

CUAFA is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2025 Young Investigator Award. This award recognizes outstanding Columbia faculty of Asian heritage and allies who are within the first ten years of their initial faculty appointment.

The award highlights exceptional scholarly accomplishments, major awards, and significant contributions to their fields, celebrating the achievements of early-career faculty who exemplify excellence and innovation.

The awardee will be selected by a distinguished faculty panel chaired by Dr. Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic, and the honor will be presented at the Annual CUAFA Gala in Spring 2025.

How to Nominate or Renominate a Candidate:
To nominate a candidate, please submit the following materials:

  • A 1-2 page nomination letter detailing the candidate’s key scholarly accomplishments, major awards, and recognitions.

  • A list of their most significant publications.
