About CUAFA

Established on March 20, 2021, CUAFA carries its core missions to advocate the faculty members in the AAPI community as a representative body for the benefit of Columbia University and the community at large, to promote their career and leadership advancement within and beyond Columbia University, and to create an open, safe and fair academic environment for all.

In the past year, CUAFA has successfully organized a series of activities to raise the AAPI community's awareness, webinars on breaking the “bamboo ceiling” of Asian academic leadership, and on promoting open science in the age of surveillance. Our continued success relies on your support.

All the raised funds from the Gala Dinner will be used to support CUAFA's future events. If you cannot attend the Gala, you can still contribute to CUAFA by donation (contact CUAFA President X. Edward Guo, exg1@columbia.edu). We also welcome industry and other organizations’ contributions.

Membership of CUAFA is open to all faculty of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and allies at Columbia University in the City of New York, regardless of their country of origin or citizenship. To join, please fill out our membership form.
